VCF juvenil sides get off to a winning start in División de Honor and Liga Nacional second phase

VCF Juvenil A and B were off to a winning start in their opening fixtures in the second phase of División de Honor and Liga Nacional Juvenil respectively.
División de Honor
VCF Juvenil A got a comprehensive 4-0 win over Unión Archena FC where goals galore in the first half. Miguel Ángulo’s side came out fully determined to avoid any possible scares and they were two goals to the good within the opening 15 minutes.
Bashiru opened the scoring on seven minutes and Miguel Arilla grabbed hat-trick two of which came in the last five minutes of the opening half. With this win, they move up one place in the table, they are sitting second on 45 points one point off the table-toppers.
They will visit Albacete at the weekend for their second Matchday in this express play-off of five games.
Liga Nacional
Juvenil B ran out 1-3 victors away at CD Castellón in their second phase opener in a finely-poised game until the 70th minute where José Luis Bravo’s side saw off CD Castellon in the closing stages of the game courtesy of goals from Mario Domínguez, Víctor Esquerdo and Ian Martínez.
The opening goal saw a heartfelt celebration dedicated to his grandfather who passed away recently
With this win, VCF Juvenil B strengthen their grip on the first place Group VIII-C and could be crowned winners in the coming matchdays. They will host UD Alzira B on matchday 2 in this six-game phase.
